Our Engineering Manager, Robert Kane recently attended the Engineers Australia Safety in Design Seminar in Brisbane.

Safety in Design uses the processes described in ISO 31000, which is based on the world’s first Australian Risk Management Standard AS4360.

There is now a greater demand for hazards to be considered in the design process to ensure that during the life of a facility, it is safe to build, operate, maintain, and demolish that facility.

Utilising knowledge from this seminar, Welcon Technologies will enhance its Safety In Design techniques within our project delivery procedures to ensure that safety remains a key consideration in any design.
