Due to ongoing demand for our services, we are expanding our electrical engineering capabilities, and are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland.  Our forward workload is growing and is based on steady demand from many of our market sectors, with a combination of greenfield infrastructure projects and plant upgrades.

Our clients include many of Australia’s blue-chip companies, and as an Electrical Engineer with Welcon, you will gain exposure to industries ranging from mining and industrial, through to utilities and government.  Here in Gladstone, many of these clients are on our doorstep, so you will enjoy a role with a satisfying combination of office and site-based work, but with the benefit of being home with your family each night.

We are looking for a degree-qualified engineer with design experience – Someone who can work with our clients, take a concept, develop the design and produce the necessary documentation and drawings. But it’s not just about sitting behind a computer in an office, you must enjoy getting out on site, meeting with clients, getting hands-on with programming, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
