Join our Graduate Development Program, where new graduates and junior engineers are exposed to a number of work experiences and specific training modules. Always supervised under registered senior engineers, our graduates develop quickly with a combination of office-based learning and site experience. Our forward workload is growing and is based on steady demand from many of our market sectors, with a combination of greenfield infrastructure projects and plant upgrades.
Our clients include many of Australia’s blue-chip companies, and as an Electrical Engineer with Welcon, you will gain exposure to industries ranging from mining and industrial, through to utilities and government. But it’s not just about sitting behind a computer in an office, you must enjoy getting out on site, taking responsibility, meeting with clients, getting hands-on with programming, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
We are looking for a degree-qualified engineer, who wants to learn how to utilise their university learnings in real-world applications. This role will suit final year students who expect to graduate later this year, as well as qualified engineers with one or two years’ engineering experience.
