Congratulations and all the Best to Neville Gersch, our most Senior Engineer who has retired on the 30th of June 2015. Neville has been with Welcon Technologies for over ten years (after his first attempt to retire). He has been a source of great knowledge that has be invaluable to a younger generation of Power Engineers within Welcon.
As one of his official roles within Welcon, Neville was a certified High Voltage Auditor and regularly travelled to interesting places to ensure that HV installations were indeed safe to energise.
Less officially, Neville became the Company Poet, regularly producing humorous prose at various company functions; delightfully teasing staff members for their various faux pas and follies throughout each year.
Neville, your shared knowledge of over 50 years of electrical engineering has been educational to us all, and your friendship will be enduring. We hope that you and Sue enjoy the fruits of your labour in retirement.
