Our Gladstone Branch has a vacancy for a full-time CAD Drafter or CAD Tracer with experience in prepararing and modifying electrical drawings.

Whilst the primary requirement is for at least 2 years’ AutoCAD experience, an equivalent proficiency in Microstation will also be considered.

This role involves working within small engineering project teams across the Welcon organisation, and delivering high quality work, under the supervision of our Senior CAD Designer.

The majority of work will be office-based, however opportunities to travel to industrial and utility sites will occur on occasions.  These visits will require appropriate industrial PPE to be worn and client inductions to be completed.

Applicants for the CAD Tracer position will need to demonstrate completion of a relevant TAFE or similar course.

Applicants for the CAD Drafter position will be required to have completed a Certificate or Diploma in electrical engineering studies.
